Holiday Entertaining ~ Cheese Platters
As we are all getting ready to host our Christmas, New Year's and Holiday parties I thought I'd share some ideas for cheese platters. Cheese boards are perfect to serve as an appetizer or a dessert and they are great for entertaining large groups because they are communal and made for sharing.

Getting back to Nature ~ Using Seasonal Items to decorate for the Holidays.
This year I am going to try to not spend any money on new decorations for the Holidays apart from the one ornament we buy for our tree each year. This year my Christmas decor is going to be based around nature and seasonal items which will be sure to give our home a festive feel.

Christmas Around the World Infographic
Hello dear Christmas friends!
I hope that your March has been a happy one so far. I am well and truly ready for some Fall weather to arrive Down Under and I'm sure by friends in the Northern hemisphere are ready for Spring to arrive!
Since I'm already dreaming about the cooler weather I'm also thinking about the cold Christmas we just had in Paris.
It was so perfect and very natural to have a cold Christmas, especially since I'm always singing about White Christmases and Snowflakes and enjoying warm toasty fires. You can see why I always find it so strange to celebrate Christmas in summer! This got me thinking about how Christmas is celebrated all around the world! For example, did you know that Venezuelans attend a daily early morning church service between December 16th and 24th alled Misa de Aguinaldo ("Early Morning Mass.") and in Caracas, the capital city, it is customary to roller-skate to this service and many neighborhoods close the streets to cars until 8 a.m.
So, how is Christmas celebrated all around the world....
