Hello dear Christmas friends!
Today I thought I might share some of my favourite ideas on how to decorate a staircase at Christmas. I have pinned so many staircase pictures because that is the place where I usually hang our stockings since we don't have a fireplace.
I really want to make it look much more festive this year and I think I have some great ideas that I might be able to try.

Oh these ideas are all just beautiful Natasha! I have a banister I decorate every year, but I really like the idea of the stockings going up the railing! I never thought of that. I may do that this year on my railing! Even the red & white paper bells are so decorative. I also like the cards hanging from the garland. Nice way to display them rather than in a card basket. Thanks for the ideas. Have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteSooooo many wonderful ideas, but I don't have any stairs:(

Linda

ReplyDeleteHi Natasha,
ReplyDeleteHave not been around in blogland for quite a while, too busy with the gardens. It is fun to come back though and read your lovely inspiring blogs.
A few years ago a shop salled these guirlandes made of acorns. I just loved the naturalness of them and put them up in the room and twisted around the staircase. The nice thing about it is that you can attach just any greenery or Christmassy items. It looks fab!
Another thing to do is to put little cup candles in glass bowls (or pretty jam jars) on every step of the staircase.
Thanks for stopping by on my blog!
Have a happy weekend!
Jacoba
Bad typing mistake there: salled is of course sold!
