I thought that since it is summer in the northern hemisphere I might share some summery ways to celebrate Christmas!
As much as I wish it could stay winter all year long, I am looking forward to spending our Christmas holidays at the beach this year.
Christmas Down Under is so Hot! We don't have snow....it looks more like this!

So, how does Christmas Down Under look? Do you like the idea of a hot Aussie Christmas or do you dream of white Christmases?
Best wishes,
Natasha

I would love to spend Christmas somewhere warm and sunny - just once.
ReplyDeleteLoved all the summer Christmas photos, but the one with the blue tree was my fave! I live in the Phoenix AZ area and we don't have a snowy Christmas, but we sure don't have summer either. It's usually around 68-72 degrees on Christmas day. If it's in the 60s we light the fireplace! Enjoy your winter...
ReplyDeleteHi Natasha, I sent in a request invitation to Pinterest. I love all of the inspirational photos. Just gorgeous! Hope I can figure out how to use it. Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteYou made me remember back to the time we took a cruise just before Christmas and that was unique. Your photos were wonderful. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteLoved your photos. I love snow and the chill in the air, although I would probably enjoy one warm Christmas somewhere.

Excellent post...I loved all the pictures. Your blog is a delight...and a reminder as well to keep the mind-set of Christmas all the time. We are celebrating our Independence Day tomorrow...so Happy July 4th!
ReplyDeleteI am so glad you commented on my blog or might never have found you. I love Christmas and am a collector of old fashioned Santa figures and images.
ReplyDeleteI have posted lots of pictures of them in the past. Come on by and have a look.
I haven't had breakfast yet and the picture of the roast chicken, ham etc. is making me crazy. Looks so delicious.
Olá Natasha,lindo blog,parabéns !

Abraços natalinos.
Thanks for joining my first Bunny Hop party!
ReplyDeleteI think that one picture hinted that Santa might be "skinny dipping"... with just his hat and flop flops left in the sand ;)
Also, are kangaroos called "Boomers" or "Roos" or both?
xoxo Bunny Jean
Hi Natasha! This was wonderful - hadn't heard this before. Had no idea male kangaroos were called "boomers." I'm dreadfully ignorant of the Australian culture, I'm afraid!
ReplyDeleteWe spent a couple of Christmases in Florida near Ft Myers with my in-laws. It just wasn't the same without snow, cold, and fir trees! I love your idea of Christmas in July!
See ya!
XoXoXo

Neat post. :) I've always thought it was cool that Christmas in Australia was a "summer holiday", even though I live in North America.
