Some people might be complaining about the rain but I think it's the perfect weather to be dreaming about a cold and White Christmas!
I love the use of use of mirrored surfaces and crystal chandeliers to add extra sparkle to the rooms; look at the pretty crystal drops, glass balls, and clear lights on the tree!
Even the bedrooms are dressed in holiday style!

Since a Down Under Christmas is alway HOT, I love all of these ideas! I am definitely going to think about decorating with a coastal twist this year!
What a great way way to turn our summer beach treasures into Christmas decorations!
I love this Christmas tree of cut branches adorned with white and silver ornaments.

I can see that Christmas at our place is going to very White indeed.

I love the Christmas whites!! I've had Christmas on my mind a lot lately for some reason!
ReplyDeleteOh, I just love this!!! I have a group of online friends who are mad for Christmas, too, and I do a White Christmas post in August every year, while we're all sweltering...I will surely direct them here!
ReplyDeleteI am in Southern California, and the closest I ever get to white Christmas is some rain. We do get the occasional 80 degree holiday; I am in awe of you folks in Australia who can cope with the heat at Christmas time!
I don't like Christmas much because I work retail, but with all this really hot weather we're getting-I'd take some cold, wet weather. The images you choose were absolutely beautiful!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, a blog after my own heart! I am sooo thinking of Xmas already!!! I turned up the music on this and my husband turned to me and said "still a ways to go my love".
ReplyDeleteThank you for getting me even MORE excited for the holidays! I'm following your blog:)
What beautiful photos! I don't have that artistic flair; I always admire people who can decorate like that ....
ReplyDeleteWelcome to your first White Wednesday..I'm on my third and having great fun with it! Your winter whites are wonderful, and offered a welcome cool moment in our hot and humid Vancouver summer...

With a "swoosh" your blog transported me back to my childhood! You background vintage wrapping paper is so fun!
ReplyDeleteLove your idea of a White Christmas look for your hot Christmas. Here in deep south Texas it is not uncommon to have our a.c. on during the holidays. Although it is not the weather you experience but white is definitely refreshing.
