Why I started a Christmas Blog.

I love Christmas and preparing for the Christmas season is one of my passions! I love decorating our home, playing Christmas carols, making gifts for my loved ones and, of course, being with my family at this very Holy and special time of year.

I love the traditions we have built on such as going to Church on Christmas Eve and then coming back to our home for a Christmas Party complete with mulled wine, Christmas cookies and a visit from Father Christmas (AKA Mr Attorney!).

inherited my love for all things Christmas from my mother...I guess that is why she called me Natasha which means "Child of Christmas"! This love of Christmas inspired me to start this blog.

The aim of my Christmas blog is simple; to think of Christmas as not just a day, an event to be observed and speedily forgotten. It is a spirit which should permeate every part of our lives. (William Parks)
I hope you will join me in my quest to try and Keep the Christmas Spirit Alive, 365!

Blessings and best wishes always,
Natasha, the Christmas Child!

  2. I love the Christmas season, too. The spirit of the holidays, the gift wrapping, the cookies and candy made days in advance, the kids so excited they can't sleep, the MUSIC! I love the holiday music....I could have everyday be Christmas Eve, and never get tired of the cheer and excitement.

    Natasha, your name suits you!

  16. Natasha,
I too love Christmas and that is why I started my Christmas blog too! It was my Dad that instilled my love for Christmas in me!
I grew up as the child of first and second generation polish Americans and we had very rich traditions!
Some of them I still keep!

  19. Jesus is the Reason for the Season and Christmas is my favorite time of the year! I love the Christmas music, baking those goodies and decorating. I also like to shop for others so I can put a smile on their face. I am thinking about making a gift to give along with what I give them this year. I am thinking maybe about those cookies in the jar where you had the eggs and etc. I also love your blog. I have really enjoyed the music as I am reading and that fudge looks yummy!

Christmas is forever, not for just one day,
for loving, sharing, giving, are not to put away
like bells and lights and tinsel, in some box upon a shelf.
The good you do for others is good you do yourself...
